My name is Melissa Carter, and I have been with Academy Del Sol since September 2019. I have taught many different grade levels throughout my career. During my time in middle school, I enjoyed my time in ELA but decided to broaden my
horizons in Middle School Science. Having a chance to teach new and innovative ideas to fresh minds is very exciting. I have a degree in business, in the science of education, and in English.

I have two teenage boys that keep me on my toes. When I am not in the classroom teaching, I enjoy my time working out and
