Biography
My name is Kim Stark and I am the Compliance Officer at Academy Del Sol. I have been with Academy Del Sol since January 2012; starting out as a Kindergarten/First Grade teacher, moving up to team lead, and transitioning into administration in the Fall of 2015. My current job is to make sure that everything we are doing is in compliance with ADE and the Charter Board.
My educational background: I have my Bachelors in Elementary Education and my Masters in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. I have certifications in Elementary Education with endorsements in Early Childhood Education and English as a Second Language. After graduating high school I went to the University of Arizona and Pima Community College concurrently for my Bachelors, followed by attending Grand Canyon University for my Masters.
I was born and raised in Tucson. My children and I, along with our crazy pups Mia and Bella, live in Star Valley and enjoy all the quiet that comes with living in the middle of nowhere!
